Sesame Street Special 4: Just one Person and It's not easy being green

En el Especial dedicado a Jim Henson, las cartas a la Rana René eran reales. Los fans realmente le envían cartas a René cómo persona, y no solamente a Henson o a la persona que lo interpreta. También en el mismo especial, ellos cantan una canción al final llamada "Just One Person", que pertenece a un musical... ¡De Snoopy!



Resulta que Just One Person era la canción favorita de Jim Henson. Por lo mismo, cantaron la canción durante el especial y durante el mismo funeral de Jim Henson. Los clips del funeral de Jim Henson, excepto 1, fueron borrados de YouTube, por lo que solo puedos dejarlos con 2 versiones por los Muppets de Just One Person.

It's not easy being green es la canción más conocida de la Rana René. En Plaza Sésamo salía cómo "Es difícil ser Verde". Es tan conocida que de hecho, es casi tan parodeada cómo "Yo soy tu padre" =P. Incluso, muchas familias de Raza Negra cantaban la canción cambiando Green, por Black. Fuera del detalle, el único clip del Funeral de Jim Henson que sobrevivió en You Tube es de hecho, una de las cosas más tristes jamás interpretadas por un personaje de Sesame Street: Big Bird cantando It's not easy being green al borde de las lágrimas. Conste que yo ni nadie dice Caroll Spinney, el intérprete de Big Bird, cantando, es Big Bird el personaje quién lo hace. E incluso, no se despide de Jim Henson. Se despide de René.
